As Executive Director, LaPointe is responsible for providing leadership for the delivery of quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment for staff. He will be tasked with leading and directing the overall operations of the center in accordance with customer needs, government regulations and company policies, with a focus on maintaining excellent care for residents, while achieving the cente'’s business objectives.
Prior to his role with Linwood Care Center, LaPointe served as Assistant Administrator for the Seashore Gardens Living Center in Galloway, NJ where LaPointe directed and developed a team of professionals to promote quality healthcare in a 151-bed skilled nursing care and 35-bed assisting living facility. LaPointe drove a diverse scope of responsibilities including risk management, vendor contracts, community relations and financial management. Prior to his role with Seashore Gardens, LaPointe was Managing Director for Philadelphia Brokerage in Wayne, PA where he assumed full responsibility for a boutique wealth management firm.
LaPointe received his MBA from the Smeal College of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of New Jersey.
Mary Lou Mills recently joined the staff of Linwood Care Center as the Director of Admissions. She brings with her 24 years of experience in different areas of Healthcare Access Management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration earned at R. Stockton College of New Jersey. Born and raised in Ocean City, she now lives in Egg Harbor Township with her husband David. She loves sharing her joy and laughter with her family, friends, and co-workers
Beth has been in healthcare for over 30 years and has worked at Linwood Care Center for over 25 years. Beth is certified in Rehabilitation Nursing and is the leader of a skilled and energetic nursing department. She is committed to high quality care for all residents and expanding the types of services currently offered at Linwood.
Carla is a Licensed Practical nurse since 1993. She began her career working with the developmentally disabled at the Vineland Developmental Center. In 2004, Carla joined Oceanpoint Nursing Home where she operated admissions and case management departments while obtaining additional schooling in ICD-9 coding. Carla has been with Bayada Home Care for the last five years. She joins Linwood Care Center with a tremendous amount of experience, knowledge and compassion.
Christine King is the Director of Human Resources at Linwood Care Center. She graduated from Richard Stockton State College with a Business Administration degree specializing in Management. Christine has 15 years experience in the business field and has spent the last 6 directly within Human Resources. She is very dedicated the staff at Linwood Care Center. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family.
As the Partner Development Coordinator for Linwood Care Center, Anne is responsible for developing opportunities and partnerships with physicians, hospital systems, and the community.
Krissy recently celebrated 10 years of service in our facility. Her main focus is increasing Quality Of Life through our activity programs. This requires being creative and thinking outside of the bingo board. Krissy has a BA in Human Relation Communications from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
Daniel Magner started at Linwood Care Center in 2006. He has been a Director in LTC for over 20 years and in kitchens for over 35. Daniel is committed to excellence for his department and has led his team to instituting a “cook to order” breakfast program and a restaurant style birthday menu for residents. Daniel has also enjoyed being a volunteer youth hockey coach for his four children the past 15 years in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, while winning international championships.
Tony has been with Linwood Care Center for over 21 years. As director of Respiratory Care he's proud to lead a team of highly motivated Respiratory Therapists, providing round-the-clock care to our vent dependant residents. He believes earning the trust and respect of the residents and their families along with a strong commitment to teamwork yields the best clinical outcomes.
