Meet the Linwood team

Executive Director: Diane Delaney, LNHA

Prior to her role with Revera Health Systems, Delaney served as the Administrator for The Heath Center at Galloway, where she was accountable for a 120-bed facility with a high percentage of clinically complex/post-acute patients. Delaney was successful in managing and containing costs related to Medicare A, developed strong customer and community relationships and created a proven track record of successful state surveys. Delaney also served as the Administrator for Franklin Care Center, The Pavilions at Forrestal and Monmouth Crossing, where she succeeded in reducing operational costs, met budget goals, and developed comprehensive care programs.

Delaney brings with her over seventeen yeas of strong leadership experience, a well-rounded view of the senior care industry, and a proven ability to succeed. Delaney is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and a member of NJACHA.

Director of Admissions: Erica Muniir

Erica joined Linwood Care Center in February 2014. She has several years of healthcare experience. Erica graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Masters degree in Social Work. She is currently responsible for helping to expedite the admissions and discharge process for patients and families. She takes pride in helping families in difficult times in deciding the appropriate care and placement of their loved ones. Director of Nursing Services: Valerie Lowman, RN, BSN

Valerie started with Revera in 2012. She has been a Director of Nursing Services at Linwood Care Center since December, 2013. Valerie is committed to providing excellent care to the residents along with a safe environment for the nursing staff.

Assistant Director of Nursing: Jessica Crowely, MSNRN, ED

Jessica has been a registered nurse for almost 19 years. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Delaware and her graduate degree is from TESC. Her background is in ICU. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 daughters.

Care Coordinator: Melissa Saltzman

Melissa has over 12 years of healthcare experience beginning her career in the skilled nursing industry over 5 years ago as Admissions Director. As Care Coordinator she is a first line of communication for our patients and their families utilizing her passion for superior customer service to ensure a smooth transition into our center. She works closely with all members of our Team with a diligent dedication to continuity of quality care. Melissa is an active member of the Cape Atlantic Coalition for Health, she is happily married to her husband of 11 years and has 2 children ages 10 and 5.

Director of Activities: Kristina Kessler, BA, ADPC

Krissy has been a part of the Linwood family for over 12 years. Her main focus is increasing Quality Of Life through our activity programs. This requires being creative and thinking outside of the bingo board. Krissy has a BA in Human Relation Communications from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Director of Dining Services: Daniel Magner, CDM

Daniel Magner started at Linwood Care Center in 2006. He has been a Director in LTC for over 20 years and in kitchens for over 35. Daniel is committed to excellence for his department and has led his team to instituting a "cook to order" breakfast program and a restaurant style birthday menu for residents. Daniel has also enjoyed being a volunteer youth hockey coach for his four children the past 15 years in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, while winning international championships.

Assistant Executive Director/ STAR Program Coordinator: Cheryl Holmes

Cheryl has been in healthcare for 35 years and has been a part of the Linwood Team for 21 years. After 16 years as a Ventilator Nurse at Linwood, she turned in her stethoscope and accepted a position as Assistant Executive Director. Cheryl's goal is to share her commitment for high quality of care and service with all those who enter the doors at Linwood Care Center.

Business Office Director: Karen Hock

Karen Hock started at Linwood Care Center in 2000. Karen's experience has always been in healthcare. Prior to 2000 she was a practice manager for a multi-physician practice. Karen has seen many changes in healthcare throughout the years.

Director of Respiratory Care: Tony Scalzitti, RRT

Tony has been with Linwood Care Center for over 21 years. As director of Respiratory Care he's proud to lead a team of highly motivated Respiratory Therapists, providing round-the-clock care to our vent dependent residents. He believes earning the trust and respect of the residents and their families along with a strong commitment to teamwork yields the best clinical outcomes.
