When someone we love is approaching the end of life, our most fervent wish is that they be allowed to die with peace and dignity.
An integral part of our center’s mission is the compassionate care of persons who are terminally ill.
Linwood Care Center provides palliative and end-of-life hospice care for residents and families who request it. The goal of our hospice team is to make this time as comfortable and peaceful as possible. The hospice team typically includes nurses, a social worker, home health aides, clergy, and volunteers, and services include both spiritual and grief counseling.
