Nanetta Malone named new administrator at Linwood Care Center

Linwood, NJ, January 4, 2012

Linwood Care Center welcomes Nanetta Malone as the center's new administrator.

Malone has spent the majority of her healthcare career with the Solaris Health System, where she worked in various positions for 24 years. Malone started her career as Director of Social Work. She became an Administrator in 1995 and helped to open the first approved vent unit in the state of New Jersey. During the 90’s, Malone served as administrator for the largest hospital-based sub-acute unit with Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ. Malone is a Certified Social Worker (CSW), a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), a Certified Assisted Living Administrator and she has her Masters in Administration.

Malone says her core values as an administrator, which will continue to guide her work at Linwood are the institution of an open door policy that enables continual communication amongst patients/residents, staff, physicians and family members, as well as the belief that "the way you treat a person is how they will view your health center".

In her role as administrator, Malone is looking forward to continuing on with the level of quality of care that has already been established at the center. With a newly renovated STAR (Specialized Therapy and Rehab) unit on the horizon, patients will have the ability to take advantage of a state-of-the-art rehab center designed to meet their custom needs; Malone also plans to elevate the center through enhanced staff training and new programs for the building.

"My desire," says Malone, "is to establish Linwood Care Center as the premier center in our area – and the center has the talent and expertise to make that happen."
